Our Work

Making sense of adoption : A contextual guide
The Contextual Adoption Framework (CAF), our guide draws on insights from psychology, sociology, children’s rights, history, and lived experience. It is not intended as a diagnosis tool but as a critical analysis tool to uncover, explore and address the direct and indirect factors that impact adoption experiences and adoptees mental health outcomes.
Explainer series : How children understand adoption over time
We are developing an explainer series designed as an accessible, evidence-informed guide for adoptive families and practitioners. Grounded in narrative psychology, the series helps children construct their own life stories by providing age-appropriate frameworks to understand their adoption journey. By translating complex experiences into manageable narratives, we empower children to integrate their past and present, fostering a coherent sense of self and a stronger foundation for their evolving identity.
